Senior Business Applications Developer
The Sr. Business Applications Developer is responsible for business software applications development. This position reports to the Director of Product Development and works closely with cross-functional teams to provide complete solutions for new & existing software.

Required Skills
•Bachelor’s degree or greater in related technical area.

•Two-three years, database design, SQL stored procedures & views.

List of responsibilities

Senior Design Engineer, Optoelectronics
The Senior Optoelectronics Design Engineer will be responsible for the development of new high-speed optoelectronic subassemblies. This position will work closely with other engineering teams and with product management across multiple facilities globally.

Tasks and Responsibilities
• Responsible for all aspects of TOSA and ROSA development, from modeling and building prototypes to performing validation testing and analyze test data.
• Work closely with chip and transceiver development teams to define specifications and evaluate product performance.
• Documentation of product design and manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate and interface with vendors.
• Work with product management to define schedules for qualification, sample builds, and production start.
• Travel to China and Taiwan to meet with other engineering groups within the company.

Skills/Qualifications
• Ph.D or M.S. in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
• At least 5 years experience in design and development of optoelectronics products, especially high bit rate components and planar packaging.
• Solid understanding of optoelectronic devices (lasers, modulators, photodetectors), RF electronics (transmission lines, modulation response, impedance matching). The position acts as a bridge between the transceiver design group and the chip/TO design group, so understanding of both areas is critical.
• Experience with detailed modeling of thermal, electrical, and optical properties of optoelectronics devices, both DC and RF performance.
• Strong organizational an communication skills. Ability to organize projects involving multiple teams across facilities, and to drive tasks to completion..
• Mandarin speaking capability is desired.
